Aaron Perry Taylor-Johnson (né Johnson; born 13 June 1990) is an English actor who has truly made a name for himself in the industry. From his role as the beloved title character in the Kick-Ass franchise, to his portrayal of Marvel's Pietro Maximoff in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Taylor-Johnson has taken the world by storm. But his success didn't come overnight. Taylor-Johnson began performing at a young age of six, and has since starred in a variety of films, including Shanghai Knights, The Illusionist, The Thief Lord, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, Nowhere Boy and Savages. He even ventured into the world of Russian aristocracy as Count Vronsky in Joe Wright's adaptation of Anna Karenina. Taylor-Johnson further cemented his position as a legacy actor with his role as the psychopathic drifter Ray Marcus in Tom Ford's thriller Nocturnal Animals, which won him the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and a BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He then went on to star in Christopher Nolan's spy action epic Tenet and David Leitch's thriller Bullet Train. What's next for Taylor-Johnson? Well, he's set to take on the role of Kraven the Hunter in Sony's Spider-Man Universe in a self-titled 2023 movie. And who knows, maybe he'll give us a few good laughs along the way - after all, he did star in the hilarious movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging!
