Legendary Irish actor and film director Brendan Gleeson is a man of many talents. Not only is he an Emmy award-winning actor, but he also has three IFTA Awards and two British Independent Film Awards to his name. He's been nominated for a BAFTA Award and four Golden Globe Awards, and is one of Ireland's greatest film actors. Not to mention, he has a knack for making the most of even the smallest roles. He's best known for his performance as Alastor Moody in the Harry Potter films, as Pól in Cáca Milis, and his supporting roles in films such as Braveheart, Michael Collins, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Gangs of New York, Kingdom of Heaven, Cold Mountain, Troy, The Smurfs 2, Suffragette, Paddington 2, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. He even starred as the infamous US President Donald Trump in the miniseries The Comey Rule! The man's talent is so vast that he proved his Emmy worth for portraying Winston Churchill in the television film Into the Storm, and he's had the pleasure of starring in leading roles like 28 Days Later, In Bruges, The Guard, The Grand Seduction, and Calvary. Oh, and did we mention he's the father of two successful actors, Domhnall Gleeson and Brian Gleeson? If you didn't think it was possible to love this man any more, just remember that he's Irish, which means he's likely got a great sense of humor. In fact, we heard he's been known to tell a joke or two—although they're usually so bad that you have to laugh!
