Bruce Campbell, born in 1958 in the small town of Fairbanks, Alaska, is one of the most famous and influential actors in horror and action movie history. Campbell began his career in 1978 playing the role of Ash Williams in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead franchise. Since then, he has starred in many low-budget cult films, such as Crimewave, Maniac Cop, Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat, and Bubba Ho-Tep. Campbell is known for his electrifying on-screen performances and his intense dedication to his craft. He is also known for his self-deprecating sense of humor and his zany sense of fashion. His last film, The Mist, was released in 2018 and tells the story of a group of people who are trapped in a mall during a demonic outbreak. Campbell is currently working on a new film project, tentatively titled The Burning, which will be his directorial debut.
