Cate Blanchett is an international superstar, and for good reason. With two Academy Awards, three British Academy Film Awards, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards to her name, it's no wonder that she's considered one of the best actresses of her generation. From her breakout performances in hit films like The Lord of the Rings and The Aviator, to her jaw-dropping stage performances like A Streetcar Named Desire and The Maids, Blanchett has shown time and time again why she's a force to be reckoned with. Her portrayal of Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator won her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, and that was just the beginning of her illustrious career. Not only is Blanchett a master of the big and small screen, but she's also a successful producer. She and her husband, Andrew Upton, were the artistic directors of the Sydney Theatre Company from 2008 to 2013, and more recently, she produced the FX/Hulu historical drama miniseries Mrs. America (2020). If that wasn't enough, Blanchett recently made her Broadway debut in The Present, for which she received a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play nomination. Blanchett is truly an unstoppable force in the entertainment industry, and if there's one thing we've learned, it's that she's always up for a challenge. As she so famously said, "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing at all." So, if you're looking for an inspiring role model, look no further than the one and only Cate Blanchett. And, if you're looking for a laugh, just remember her other famous quote: "I'm so old, I remember when taking a selfie was called 'asking someone to take your picture.'"
