Claes Bang
Claes Bang is a multi-talented award-winning actor and producer who has taken the world by storm. Born in Denmark on April 28, 1967 as Claes Kasper Bang, his name is pronounced "Class Bun-g". He is a true polyglot, speaking Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, English and German fluently. After graduating from the Danish National School of Performing Arts in 1996, Claes began his rise to fame.
His breakout role was in the 2011 critically acclaimed series Bron/Broen, but it was the 2017 drama film The Square that really catapulted him to global stardom. His performance earned him the prestigious Palme d'Or award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival and a nomination for the 2018 Academy Awards. Since then, he has become a household name, starring in the 2018 film The Girl in the Spider's Web, and other films such as The Burnt Orange Heresy and Dracula.
