Daniel Jacob Radcliffe is an English actor and multi-award-winning star who made his debut at the tender age of 10. After rocketing to international fame with his portrayal of the beloved Harry Potter in the series of the same name, Radcliffe has become one of the world's highest-paid actors and a beloved figure in both film and theatre. Radcliffe's big break came in 1999 when he starred in the BBC One television film David Copperfield, followed by his feature film debut in The Tailor of Panama. Of course, it was his role as Harry Potter in the film adaptation of the J.K. Rowling fantasy novel of the same name that catapulted him to fame and changed his life forever. Over the following decade, he appeared in seven sequels, culminating with the much-anticipated Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011. Since then, Radcliffe has gone from strength to strength, starring in the romantic comedy What If? (2013) and the horror film The Woman in Black (2012), as well as the science-fiction horror film Victor Frankenstein (2015). He also starred in the heist thriller film Now You See Me 2 (2016) and the critically acclaimed thriller film Imperium (2016). Perhaps most impressively, Radcliffe has branched out to stage acting, taking roles in West End and Broadway productions of Equus, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, The Cripple of Inishmaan, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. Radcliffe is also known for his sense of humor and his ability to self-deprecate. In an interview, he jokingly stated, "I'm not sure I'm the best actor in the world, but I'm in the top one". In 2022, he will star in the action comedy The Lost City and portray Weird Al Yankovic in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. With a career spanning nearly two decades, Daniel Radcliffe has truly earned his title as one of the most beloved actors of his generation.
