Danny DeVito
Danny DeVito is an iconic actor, comedian, director, and producer whose career has spanned more than four decades. Born in New Jersey on November 17, 1944, DeVito first gained notoriety for his portrayal of the beloved Louie De Palma on the hit TV show Taxi, for which he won a Golden Globe and Emmy.
Since then, DeVito has played a wide variety of roles, from the lovable dad in Matilda to a hilarious turn as the Penguin in Batman Returns. He also founded the production company Jersey Films with his wife, Rhea Perlman, and continues to produce and direct films, while remaining active in both television and film.
And if that's not enough, he even turned his hand to music, singing a duet with Paul McCartney in the mid-90s!
But the true test of DeVito's talent lies in his ability to make a room laugh. As he once said, "If you're funny, you don't need much else. You could have a wooden leg and a lousy personality and you're still funny."
