Dave Bautista
Dave Bautista - an American actor, professional wrestler and MMA fighter - is living proof that you can have it all. From the wrestling ring to the big screen, this retired champion has achieved more in his lifetime than most of us could ever dream of.
Having made his debut in the then-World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 2000, Bautista quickly made a name for himself. He went on to become a six-time world champion, earning four World Heavyweight Championship titles and two WWE Championship titles, and holding the longest reign for the World Heavyweight Championship at 282 days. He was also the winner of the 2005 Royal Rumble match and the 2014 Royal Rumble match - a feat that very few have accomplished.
But his achievements don’t stop there. In 2006, Bautista made his acting debut, and has since starred in a variety of films, including The Man with the Iron Fists, Riddick, Spectre, Blade Runner 2049, Army of the Dead and Dune. His portrayal of Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has earned him a multitude of fans, and it looks like he’s here to stay.
On top of that, Bautista also competed in mixed martial arts (MMA), winning his only fight in October 2012. He was even kind enough to let his opponent live to tell the tale - not that anyone would want to mess with the 6-foot-6 former wrestler.
But while Bautista’s career accomplishments are impressive, he’s still an all-round nice guy. After all, he once said: “I’m not the baddest guy in the world, but I’m still bad enough to make you laugh.” And that’s exactly what he does.
