Elisabeth Shue
Born into a family of stuntmen and stuntwomen, Elisabeth Shue found her true calling in acting at the ripe age of eight, when she landed her first role in a local TV show. Since then, she's starred in some of the biggest and most beloved films of the 80s and 90s, including The Karate Kid, Adventures in Babysitting, Cocktail, Back to the Future Part II, Back to the Future Part III, Soapdish, Leaving Las Vegas, The Saint, Hollow Man, and Piranha 3D. She's won several acting awards and been nominated for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a BAFTA, and she starred as Julie Finlay on the CBS procedural forensics crime drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2012 to 2015. In 2019, she starred in the Amazon series The Boys. Elisabeth is an advocate for animal rights and has been a spokesperson for PETA since the early 2000s. Her work in this area has earned her the respect of many in the Hollywood community.
