Jacques Tati
Jacques Tati was born on October 9th, 1907 in Russia to a family of Gypsy performers. When he was just a young boy, he and his family emigrated to France and started a traveling show. In 1928, Jacques Tati made his film debut in the short film La Piscine. After making a few more short films, Jacques Tati started working on his first feature-length film, Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday. The film was a huge success, and Jacques Tati became one of the biggest stars in France. In the 1960s, Jacques Tati started working on his last film, which was never completed. Jacques Tati died on November 5th, 1982.
