James Franco

James Franco is an American actor, filmmaker, and all-around renaissance man who has conquered the entertainment world. With his stunning good looks, undeniable charm, and immense talent, he has become an icon of Hollywood. His remarkable career has been marked by numerous awards and nominations, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his role in 127 Hours (2010). He has also starred in acclaimed films such as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), Milk (2008), Eat, Pray, Love (2010), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Spring Breakers (2012), and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013). In addition to his film work, Franco has also enjoyed success in television. He is best known for his role as Daniel Desario on the cult classic TV series Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000) and for his portrayal of the title character in the television biographical film James Dean (2001), for which he won a Golden Globe Award. He also had a recurring role on the soap opera General Hospital (2009–2012) and starred in the limited series 11.22.63 (2016). His most recent project is the David Simon-created HBO drama The Deuce (2017–2019). Franco is also well-known for his collaborations with fellow actor Seth Rogen, having appeared in eight films and one television series with him, most notably Pineapple Express (2008), This Is the End (2013), and Sausage Party (2016). Despite all his success, Franco still manages to keep his sense of humor, joking, “I was so excited for my Academy Award nomination, I almost forgot my Golden Globe!”
