Jessica Chastain
Jessica Michelle Chastain is an award-winning American actress and film producer, who has long been renowned for her powerful and inspiring roles in feminist-themed films. Born on March 24th, 1977 in Sacramento, California, Chastain had long been passionate about acting, and was determined to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. After studying at the Juilliard School, she signed a talent holding deal with the television producer John Wells and went on to appear in a variety of television series.
Chastain made her film debut in the drama Jolene (2008), and gained worldwide recognition for her starring roles in the dramas Take Shelter (2011) and The Tree of Life (2011). For her performance in The Help (2011), Chastain was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She went on to win a Golden Globe Award and receive an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as a CIA analyst in the thriller Zero Dark Thirty (2012).

In her personal life, Jessica is married to fashion executive Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo, with whom she has two children. When asked about her success, Jessica is known to quip: "I guess I'm just lucky. I mean, I could have been born a flowerpot and no one would have noticed!"
