Jonathan Daniel "Jon" Hamm is a legendary actor who has been turning heads in the entertainment industry since the mid-1990s. Born on March 10, 1971, Hamm is known for his incredible work in television, film and beyond. After moving to Los Angeles, Hamm started appearing in small parts on a variety of television series, including Providence, The Division, What About Brian and Related. In 2000, Hamm's feature film debut came with Clint Eastwood's space adventure, Space Cowboys. The following year, he appeared in the independent comedy, Kissing Jessica Stein and gained even more recognition. But it was his role as advertising executive Don Draper on AMC's Mad Men that really put his career on the map. His performance earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series in 2008. Since then, Hamm has gone on to appear in a number of feature films, including 2008's The Day the Earth Stood Still, 2010's Stolen, and 2010's The Town. He even made a brief appearance in the 2018 romantic comedy, Tag, which was based on a true story. Aside from his acting career, Hamm is well known for his amazing sense of humor, often making jokes on the red carpet. During an interview with The Late Show's Stephen Colbert, he said, "I'm like the Space Cowboy, I'm here to save the day!" Jon Hamm is an incredible actor who has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry. With a Golden Globe Award already under his belt, and so much more to come, it's no surprise why Hamm is one of Hollywood's biggest stars.
