Juancho Hernangómez
Juan Alberto "Juancho" Hernangómez Geuer, or simply "Juancho", is one of the most promising young Spanish players. Blessed with extraordinary athleticism and leaping ability, he was always a force to be reckoned with on the court.
Born and raised in the city of Burgos, Juancho started playing basketball at a young age, and quickly developed into one of the country's top players. He first caught the attention of Spanish giants Estudiantes, who signed him to a contract in 2013.
Juancho quickly made an impact with Estudiantes, averaging 19.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in his first season with the club. He continued to produce at an impressive level in 2014–15, averaging 21.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
In 2016, Juancho caught the attention of the Denver Nuggets, who selected him with the 15th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He made his debut with the Nuggets in the 2016–17 season, playing in 38 games and averaging 7.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
Juancho was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2017–18 season. He played in 72 games for Minnesota and averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
Juancho was traded to the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 NBA Trade Deadline. He made his debut with the Raptors in the 2019–20 season, playing in 44 games and averaging 14.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
