Kevin Costner
Kevin Costner was born in Kelso, Washington, to Dina and Jerry Costner. He began his acting career at the age of three, appearing in a television commercial. Costner's first major role came at the age of six, when he appeared in the television series The Waltons. He then appeared in a number of films, including The Untouchables and No Way Out, both of which received critical acclaim. Costner rose to prominence in the late 1980s with his starring roles in Bull Durham and Dances with Wolves. He won two Academy Awards for these roles, making him the first actor to win two acting Oscars in one night.
Costner then starred in a number of films, including The Postman, which was his directorial debut. He also starred in Message in a Bottle and For Love of the Game.
