Kristen Jaymes Stewart is a powerhouse of a Hollywood actress-come-filmmaker, who has been wowing audiences around the world since 2002. Now, she is the world's highest-paid actress and has received multiple awards and nominations for the Academy Award, British Academy Film Award, Golden Globe Award, and César Award. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Stewart first came to the attention of the world when she was just 12 years old, for her role as Jodie Foster's daughter in David Fincher's thriller Panic Room. Since then, she has starred in Speak, Catch That Kid, Zathura: A Space Adventure, and Into the Wild. But it was her role as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga that catapulted her to global stardom. In 2012, she took on the role of Snow White in the fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman. After that, Stewart decided to push the boundaries of the Hollywood machine and focus on more independent productions. She has starred in Camp X-Ray, Still Alice, and the science fiction romance Equals. In 2015, she received critical acclaim for her performance in Olivier Assayas' drama film Clouds of Sils Maria, which won her the César Award for Best Supporting Actress. Stewart has also reunited with Assayas in the supernatural thriller Personal Shopper and made her directorial debut with the short film Come Swim. She returned to the mainstream with leading roles in the action film Charlie's Angels and the romantic comedy film Happiest Season. Most recently, her portrayal of Diana, Princess of Wales in Pablo Larraín's biographical drama Spencer earned her widespread acclaim and a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress. And, to top it all off, she's even got a sense of humor – just don't ask her to take on a role in a romantic comedy, because as she says: "I'm a terrible romantic-comedy actress. I'm always trying to make it funnier."
