Marlon L. Wayans is a comedic genius who has been making audiences laugh for years. He was born on July 23, 1972 in New York City, and is part of the illustrious Wayans family, which includes his brothers and sisters, all of whom are celebrities in their own right. After attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and Howard University, Marlon went on to become a cast member of the 1993 season of In Living Color. From 1995 to 1999, Marlon co-starred alongside his brother Shawn in the WB sitcom The Wayans Bros. He then went on to become the producer of the first two Scary Movie films, which he and Shawn also wrote and co-starred in. He has also produced a cartoon on Nickelodeon entitled Thugaboo (2006). Aside from his comedic work, Marlon has also received critical acclaim for his dramatic role in Requiem for a Dream (2000). His other film credits include I’m Gonna Git you Sucka (1988), Mo’Money (1992), Above the Rim (1994), Don’t Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking your Juice in the Hood (1995), The LadyKillers (2004), White Chicks (2004), Little Man (2006), Norbit (2007) and most recently, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009). In addition to his impressive filmography, Marlon has also become a household name for his unique brand of comedy, with his signature catchphrase of "What's up, homeslice?". He is truly a man of many talents, and when asked why he continues to make people laugh, Marlon's response is always the same: "Why not? It's better than making them cry!"
