Matthew McConaughey
Matthew David McConaughey is an American actor whose career has been nothing short of legendary. Born on November 4, 1969, he first gained notice for his breakout role in the coming-of-age comedy Dazed and Confused. What followed were a series of amazing performances in Angels in the Outfield, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, A Time to Kill, and Contact, to name a few.
It wasn't long before McConaughey established himself as a sex symbol after a string of romantic comedies like The Wedding Planner, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, and Failure to Launch. Who could forget his famous line, "Just keep livin'!"
After a two-year sabbatical, McConaughey returned to film acting and quickly began receiving critical acclaim for his roles in Bernie, Killer Joe, Magic Mike, and The Wolf of Wall Street. His performance in Dallas Buyers Club even earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor.
More recently, McConaughey has starred in Interstellar, The Sea of Trees, Free State of Jones, Gold, The Dark Tower, and The Gentlemen. He's also lent his voice to Kubo and the Two Strings, Sing, and Sing 2.
