Paul Dano
Paul Franklin Dano is an American actor whose career has taken him from the bright lights of Broadway to the silver screen and beyond. Known for his incredible diversity as an actor, Dano's performances have earned him both critical acclaim and a wide array of accolades, including an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance for his role in L.I.E. (2001). He has gone on to star in several award-winning films, such as Little Miss Sunshine (2006), 12 Years a Slave (2013), and Prisoners (2013). In 2014, he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his portrayal of musician Brian Wilson in Love & Mercy.
Dano also has experience behind the camera as well. His directorial debut, Wildlife (2018), earned him numerous accolades, and he also co-wrote the screenplay with his partner, Zoe Kazan. He also recently starred in the critically acclaimed Showtime miniseries, Escape at Dannemora, for which he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.
