Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds is an incomparable Canadian actor and film producer who has taken Hollywood by storm! From his early days playing a young heartthrob in the Canadian teen soap opera Hillside (1991–1993) to his critically acclaimed lead role in the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998-2001), Reynolds has consistently demonstrated his immense talent and expansive range. His comedic performances in National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), Waiting... (2005), and The Proposal (2009) have been hailed as some of the funniest and most refreshingly original acts in recent memory, while his more serious roles in Buried (2010), Woman in Gold (2015), and Life (2017) prove that he's more than just a one-note comedic actor. Reynolds has also starred in a variety of action films like Blade: Trinity (2004), Green Lantern (2011), 6 Underground (2019) and Free Guy (2021), and lent his vocal talents to the animated features The Croods (2013), Turbo (2013), Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019) and The Croods: A New Age (2020).
But it's Reynolds' iconic portrayal of the titular character in the Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018) films that have launched him into the stratosphere of superstardom. His unique brand of snarky, irreverent humor and spot-on physical comedy earned him nominations at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards and the Golden Globe Awards, while the films themselves set box office records for an R-rated comedy. As Reynolds himself quipped, "I'm like the Ryan Reynolds of Ryan Reynolds!"
