Talia Shire

Talia Shire is an American actress and model. She is known for her roles as Adrian Balboa in the Rocky series and Connie Corleone in The Godfather films. Talia is also a noted singer and songwriter. Born in New York City, Talia Shire was raised in the affluent suburb of Greenwich, Connecticut. She was educated at the Peddie School and the University of Connecticut. Talia started her career as a model and made her acting debut in the ABC television series, The Streets of San Francisco, in 1978. She later appeared in the films The Wanderer, Sweet Dreams, and The Fisher King. Talia has also recorded several albums and appeared in several stage productions. She is currently married to musician and songwriter, Elliot Goldenthal.
