Val Kilmer

Val Kilmer was originally a stage actor, but quickly became popular in the mid-1980s after appearing in a string of comedies, starting with Top Secret! (1984). His breakthrough role came as Jim Morrison in The Doors (1991), and he went on to star in cult classics like Real Genius (1985), Tombstone (1993), Batman Forever (1995), Heat (1995), and The Saint (1997). In the early 2000s, Kilmer starred in several successful films, including The Salton Sea (2002), Spartan (2003), and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005). In recent years, Kilmer has appeared in a number of well-received roles, including The Good Shepherd (2006), Alexander (2009), and Knight Rider (2011).
