Vin Diesel – a name synonymous with action and adventure – is a Hollywood superstar like no other. Mark Sinclair (born 18 July 1967) is a multi-faceted actor, producer, director, screenwriter, and all-round action hero, who is best known for playing the iconic Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious film series. His remarkable career spans over three decades, from humble beginnings in 1990 to becoming one of the highest-grossing actors of all time. Vin Diesel's breakout role was in the 1995 short film Multi-Facial, for which he wrote, directed, produced, scored, and starred. His impressive performance caught the eye of Steven Spielberg, who re-wrote elements of Saving Private Ryan (1998) to include Diesel. He continued to star in a wide range of films, from the animated The Iron Giant (1999) to the sci-fi classic The Chronicles of Riddick (2004). As if being an action star wasn't enough, Diesel also lent his voice and motion capture to the Guardians of the Galaxy (2014 & 2017) and Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018). Not only has Diesel excelled in the action genre, he has also achieved great success in other genres, including comedy (The Pacifier, 2005) and courtroom drama (Find Me Guilty, 2006). He even found time to found the production company One Race Films and the record label Racetrack Records. To top it off, he recently starred in the superhero film Bloodshot (2020) and will be appearing in the highly anticipated Avatar sequels. It wouldn't be a Vin Diesel biography without mentioning the man's sense of humor. He once joked that he was part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe because he had a cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy, to which he replied, "What, you don't count Groot?" In any case, it's safe to say that Vin Diesel is here to stay.
